Personal Information Protection Policy of IPS Alpha Technology, Ltd.

  IPS Alpha Technology, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "IPS Alpha") handles various information, including our technical information and information provided by customers, as an international company that provides excellent customer service, developing advanced and high-integrity technology and products. With this in mind, IPS Alpha has tried to establish and fully enforce an information management system in order to respect the value of the said information.

  With this background in mind, IPS Alpha will attempt to create rules and establish a management system for personal information protection, as well as to set a privacy policy as described below and spread it among board members and employees. Respecting a Person's Rights Regarding His or Her Personal Information When a customer makes a request to reveal, correct or delete his or her own personal information, or seeks to prevent the use or provision of such information, IPS Alpha will respond with sincerity, respecting the customer's rights related to that personal information.

Establishing Rules for Managing Personal Information Protection, and Making Continual Improvements IPS Alpha will make sure that executive staff and workers recognize the importance of personal information protection, and will establish and steadily implement rules for managing personal information to ensure that such information is used appropriately and is protected. In addition, these rules will be continually maintained and improved.

Purpose of Using Personal Information, and Providing to Third Parties

In relation to our main business activities for the manufacturing and sale of display product, IPS Alpha will use personal information only to achieve the following listed purposes: (a) Execution of contracts between a customer and IPS Alpha. (b) Contact for discussions or meetings with customers. (c) Response to inquiries. (d) Analysis for the improvement of products and services based on questionnaires. (e) Provision of personal information to our group company when IPS Alpha co-operates with such group company to carry out some business activities.

IPS Alpha will not provide customer's personal information to a third party without obtaining prior consent from the customer, except in the following circumstances: (a) When required by law. (b) When required to protect human life, body or assets, and when it would be difficult to obtain the customer's consent. (c) Handling of various inquiries. (d) When required to improve public health or to promote the healthy upbringing of children, and when it would be difficult to obtain the customer's consent. (e) When required to co-operate with the lawful activities of a national agency, local government organization, or person or organization entrusted with such a task, and obtaining customer consent would be likely to interfere with the implementation of such activities. (f) When entrusted with the handling of personal information within the scope of activities required to attain the purpose of use. (g) When providing personal information to continue business activities in the case of business-related events such as mergers.

When required to do so for business activities in which IPS Alpha is co-operating with our group companies, IPS Alpha sometimes provides group companies with personal information of customers, such as names, workplaces, home addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, etc. In such cases, the customer's personal information is provided on paper or electronic media. The customer can request IPS Alpha to stop the provision of the personal information to our group company.

When a customer contacts IPS Alpha by telephone, the conversation may be recorded to aid accurate replies.
